Dear all,

The world is passing through a very tumultous phase, because of the widespread covid pandemic. We all know however, that the only thing constant in life is change. In this context, we are proud to proclaim that we are the first school of the prestigious G D Goenka group I Kolkata. G D Goenka is a name that needs no introduction. Running several schools in India, this name has carved a niche for itself in a very short time. We at GDGPS, Dakshineswar are committed to providing holistic education to all students. Our emphasis is academic excellence, supplemented by participation in co-scholastic events, as much as possible. We firmly believe that every child is blessed with talent. The aim of schooling should be to locate that talent and allow it to blossom. This is precisely, what we are aiming at. We also firmly believe in moving away from role learning, which creates unnecessary pressure on the child and makes learning a burden. We try to incorporate activity – based learning as much as possible, keeping in mind at the same time, the purview of the NCERT syllabus, created by CBSE.

We firmly believe that the steps that we have taken, will help our students to adopt to NEP, when it is introduced in 2022.

We have set out on an illustrious journey. May the Almighty bless us – every step of the way.
