The inter-section English debate for class XI was held on 29.11.2024 which was a joint effort put together by the participants of the same event in the last session i.e. few students of class XII & the English teachers teaching class XI: Mr. Sarbashis Bhattacharjee (HOD English), Ms. Sarita Bose & Mr. Rahul Patra.
The event was won by section C & section B emerged as runners-up. Ishaan Dutta of XI-B & Aayush De of XI-C secured the place of the best & second-best speakers respectively with Suryodita Chakraborty of class XI-C winning the position of the third-best speaker.

The event was judged & moderated by the four best speakers from the last session: Adrika Chatterjee of XII-A, Krisanu Saha & Swapnendu Chatterjee of XII-B & Kishlay Raj of XII-D.
The event pitted talents against one another in iconic duels against each other and they also went head to head against fiery rebuttals from the moderators (Krisanu Saha & Kishlay Raj).
It was a fiery debate all around where two batches shared the stage together exchanging thoughts, ideas & words in an exemplary debate that not only matches the bars set by the winners in the previous session but will also remain as a standard of the debates to come every single session.

GD Goenka Public School Dakshineswar enthusiastically and successfully celebrated November as ‘Science Month’ by conducting science quiz with the students of class XI science.

Our talented students have won the FIRST PRIZE in the prestigious STAR CHEF COMPETITION 2024 organized by IEM’s International Institute of Hotel Management (IIIHM), University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata!

Not only did they showcase exceptional culinary skills, but they also received participation certificates and thoughtful tokens of love.

On 30.09.2024, the Cooking, Music, and Dance Clubs of G. D. Goenka Public School, Dakshineswar participated in special activities as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024-25!

From preparing eco-friendly dishes in the Cooking Club, to songs of cleanliness in the Music Club, and inspiring performances in the Dance Club, our students creatively expressed their commitment to a cleaner, greener environment.

The day concluded with heartfelt Swachhata Pledges, as students promised to uphold the values of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024-25, the students of G. D. Goenka Public School, Dakshineswar took the Swachhata Pledge in their classrooms, committing to keeping their surroundings clean and green!
